Carl Magnuson

 

Magnuson played youth and high school hockey in the Green Bay area. Following high school, he joined the Fond du Lac Bears senior men’s teams for several seasons in the mid 1970s. He joined the DePere Deacons in 1977 and within a few years became player, coach and general manager. For thirty years, Carl and his wife Diane ran the very successful Deacons until their retirement in 2012. During that span, the Deacons won six state championships.
