Bob Ritzer

 

Bob Ritzer was an outstanding player at Northland Pines High School and the University of Wisconsin-Superior. He was named the team’s most valuable player in 1985. He captained his high school team, his junior team, the Green Bay Bobcats, and his collegiate team.

He coached St. Mary’s Springs High School in Fond du Lac and then became the first ice arena manager at Superior Amateur Hockey Association ice arena in Superior in the early 1990s. As an instructor and coach, he has been involved in numerous WAHA camps and select programs including the Wisconsin Selects.

For the past 19 years, he has been the assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
